Painting the garage wall a deep orange and removing unwanted plant material made a simple but profound statement in the back yard of this neglected space.  The owner of this property was so inspired that she repainted the whole house!

In the front garden, I created pathways and flower beds with decomposed granite.  I then used a variety of low maintenance ornamental grasses, limonium perezii, verbena bonariensis, anigozanthos and blue agave.
